This is the only branch of this famous coffee shop outside of Vietnam. I had heard so much about it that I had to stop by. They recommended I try the "No. 1", which is vietnamese coffee dripped into a cup through an aluminium filter. The filter consists of three parts. The main container, the filter (which fits in like the pressing mechanism of a french press), and a lid. The whole contraption sits on top of the cup and gravity does the rest of the work. Condensed milk is an option, but I went with it. It took about 5 minutes for the coffee to fully drip through. Here's a pic of the coffee with filter still on.

The filter was extremely hot as the coffee was dripping through, but surprisingly, the coffee was ready to drink when the last drop dripped. The coffee was dense and very syrupy, and had a nutty caramel flavor. The aroma reminded me of a macadamia nut flavored coffee. It was very good and delivered a decent jolt of caffeine. Cup size could be bigger, as it disappeared all too quickly. Here're pics of coffee before stirring in condensed milk and after. mmmm.
